Just applied a new template. It's quite difficult to write in CSS for someone who just started to learn them. I didn't even learn HTML that much. Try and error are my modus operandi. For now, I'm just happy with my result. Need some tweaking though. Now, I'm trying to open the blog with different browsers. As always, IE always gave me the headaches, but then again everything running in IE always gives headaches. lol. The site looks okay in Firefox, Opera, and Chrome. There is something doesn't look quite right when I opened the blog in Safari. One of the topmenu elements doesn't align horizontally with the others.

love the new look, especially the way you incorporate the deep striker as the background for the top menu. The rotating latest entries at the center is also a nice feature that you've implemented, makes it easier to read thru the latest entries at a glance.
Now for the bad ^^,
you may wish to tone down the opacity of the osakasan bg at the footer, or change the text color @ the footer to something more contrasting because the texts are difficult to read now currently.
And yes,the IE always gives lots of headaches especially it comes to web design. :s
jacques@---> thanks for the comment n suggestion! about the osaka-san footer, i do realize it. Like you said, either i have to change the font, or change the opacity of the picture, etc. i was thinking to just scrap it out, but before i do that, maybe i'll try other methods first.
